Looking for Skyhawks and came across these folks. Although primarily focused on support for realistic military aviation training I wonder about this statement:
“Draken is also able to deploy its fleet in the global arena and able to work in international airspace. Our pilots have the operational experience in all global arenas. Please contact Draken directly for further information on international opportunities.”
Some pretty serious capability for a private firm. G
iven enough money I guess a small regional conflict isn’t out of the question?

Getting the aircraft is one thing. Getting the munitions is another. I can imagine they are even more difficult to find.

I’m using this an excuse to share this wonderfully tense scene from an anime that no-one has heard of

They do adversary roles to train against. Think of the A4's in the Top Gun movie, which is exactly what they're doing.

Many of Draken’s A-4s are ex-Royal New Zealand Air Force, and they’ve kept the Kiwi markings (see under the registration number) :

Depends ... how many confirmed simulated kills?

Nobody is going to have a need for A4's and rebodied L39 restomods for their 3rd world conflict, as they already have their own cheap Soko’s, L29's, L-39's given to them by the czech govt/russia. It’s all in country.

I was thinking more of say ... a large corporation having *ahem* difficulties closing a deal with a less-than-forthcoming developing country government. It’s unlikely that their air force will have experienced former NATO pilots in their ranks.
That plus a couple of well-placed Durandals (compatible avionic suite for the win! ) in the presidential bunker might help grease the skids with the eventual new head of state no?
Or ... you have solid intel on the location of a top Narco and want plausible deniability.
Or ... you have a regional partner that does not yet have the logistics to fight a proxy war for you.
Or ... you’re a jealous oligarch and just happen to have a copy of the flight plan for your biggest rival’s next private jet hop.
Or ...
The lucrative possibilities are endless.

Interestingly the, F-16 (with the Arizona flag and AZ marking) appears to be Dutch (the F-35 is as well, though it doesn’t seem to have gone native to the same extent). Guess they are hanging out in the desert for training.

Yeah, Luke AFB does a bunch of international training. I’m guessing they’re flying over the White Tanks in that photo. The whole area is a Superfund site on account of the Air Force leeching fuel into the soil for seventy years.
